You can never "FORGET" but you can "MOVE ON" instead of keep thinking of how they left and are never coming back, think they're in a better place, and they love you and you'll be with them someday, turn the negative situation to a postive and don't be selfish and just think " I WANT THEM HERE" think "they're happier there" and if you really loved them you'll accept that and in time recover,
and move on.

They say that some of the illnesses we have, we bring onto our self. i.e if you think your head is aching and it is not then slowing your mind get's it into your system that you have an ache in your head etc. As for your love for your ex contrary to what others are saying, you go ahead continue loving him. Remember all the good times you had with him the reasons why you still love him i guess. But do not at one moment forget that he is human and that you broke up coz of such and such a reason. You will probably never ever forget him but if you are willing to live with the fact that you once really loved him and he reciprocated you will be safe to move on. Explore something new to keep you busy eg hang out with your girls more, takes classes to learn new things or languages you will not only make new friends but also keep your self occupied.

Time has a way of erasing a lot of things, but if you truly love someone, you never completely forget them. All you can do is occupy your time with other thoughts until you get over them. When you find yourself thinking about the person stop and make yourself focus on something else. That might mean turning off that sad love song, turning off that movie, you know the one, and getting off your behind and going somewhere. Eventually you'll get over them and you'll appreciate the time you spent with that person kinda like it was a fabulous vacation or something.

well...the best way is to make a mental block in your head....never think about them ...in due time the memory will fade and u will eventually pass it on...memory cells in ur brain work like a lite the more times u activate it the more the memory becomes implanted...if u just stop activateing that certain cell or group of cells(i.e. remembering the times u had with sum 1) the memory will fade...trust me on this. but it will take time...trust me. i know.
