Is there a way to keep food warm, or at least to prevent it from getting too cold and dry, even though I'm only using an ordinary plastic lunchbox? thanks.

Stanley makes a great food thermos, about a third the size of a coffee thermos (a bit wider). Great for stew, soup, casserole foods. Is stainless steel with Aladdin brand plastic stopper, etc. Even has a grip handle. Fits well into a small tote type cooler. I first fill it with hot water and then let it sit for about 5 minutes, empty and then put in the hot food. Keeps it hot for about 4hrs and then warm another 2-3. Found it at Walmart for $17. There are cheaper plastic versions but they are bulkier and don't retain heat as well. Below sources give pics of it and the personal cooler.

This is Pretty simple! (: Just get a small plastic container, that's microwaveable. Put as much of you tofu stir fry in it that you would like, then lay the lid on the container. (Don't close all the way) Then, Microwave it for the minimum, 1 minute, or longer! When you take it out of the microwave, try not to let any steam escape. Immediately close the lid, then wrap your container in foil! This should keep pretty warm, but I can't say it will keep it hot. Also, if you have an insulated lunch box, that will really make a difference! Enjoy your lunch!!

you can buy something such as ice packs that you warm up into the microwave oven like the ones used to keep your hands warm while watching a hockey game in the arena/outdoor ,these might work for you!Or use a thermo bag!
