Who do you think is the real ruler of the world?

Question

Many people would answer with one answer - God. Nowhere in the Bible does it say Jesus or his Father are the REAL rulers of this world. On the contrary, Jesus said: "The ruler of this world will be cast out." And he added: "The ruler of the world is coming. And he has no hold on me."—John 12:31; 14:30; 16:11.
So the ruler of this world is in opposition to Jesus. Who could this be? What do you think????? I have some additional scriptures to support my views, but what do you think?

We can look at the world conditions and see how bad things are. Man wants peace, but can not acheive it, it is their natural desire. Yet, they live in hate and kill each other. Humans have used gas chambers, concentration camps, flamethrowers, napalm bombs, and other heinous methods to torture and slaughter one another mercilessly. Do you believe that humans, who long for peace and happiness, are capable, in themselves, of such gross wickedness against others? What forces drive men to such loathsome deeds or maneuver them into situations where they feel compelled to commit atrocities? Have you ever wondered whether some wicked, invisible power is influencing people to commit such acts of violence?

We very much believe in Jesus... We believe he is Gods son.

There is no need to guess at the matter, for the Bible clearly shows that an intelligent, unseen person has been controlling both men and nations. It says: "The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one." And the Bible identifies him, saying: "The one called Devil and Satan . . . is misleading the entire inhabited earth."—1 John 5:19; Revelation 12:9. The Bible, in fact, calls him "the god of this system of things." (2 Corinthians 4:4)

That is correct, that is yet to happen. Jehovah is about to take back over, he is about to have his day of judgment. After this happens, then Jesus will be king of this heavenly kingdom for the 1000 years. Satan will then be let loose.

As far as Jesus goes..... When Adam and Eve Sinned, Jehovah created the perfect soultion so that we may have our sins forgiven and have everlasting life. After they sinned he required the death of a perfect man. Why the death of a perfect man you may ask? Well, what was Jehovah God's penalty for Adam if he sinned? Was it not death? (Genesis 2:16, 17) "The wages sin pays is death," wrote the apostle Paul. (Romans 6:23) Adam paid for his sin with his own death. He was given life, he chose to sin, and he died as a penalty for his sin. (Genesis 3:19) What about the condemnation that the entire human race came under because of that sin? A death was needed to atone for their sins. But whose death could justly cover the transgressions of all mankind?

God's Law to the ancient nation of Israel required "soul for soul [or, life for life]." (Exodus 21:23) According to this legal principle, the death covering mankind's transgressions would have to be of a value equal to what Adam had lost. Only the death of another perfect man could pay the wages of sin. Jesus was such a man. Indeed, Jesus was "a corresponding ransom" for the saving of all redeemable mankind descended from Adam.—1 Timothy 2:6; Romans 5:16, 17.

Adam's death had no value; he deserved to die for his sin. Jesus' death, however, had great value because he died in a sinless state. Jehovah God could accept the value of Jesus' perfect life as a ransom for obedient descendants of sinful Adam. And the value of Jesus' sacrifice does not stop at paying for our past sins. If it did, we would have no future. Being conceived in sin, we are bound to err again. (Psalm 51:5) How grateful we can be that Jesus' death makes provision for us to gain the perfection that Jehovah originally intended for the offspring of Adam and Eve!

The world as pertaining to the corrupted,deceptive, hateful,cruel system...Satan, cause he has those qualities.

Matthew 4:8 Again the Devil took him along to an unusually high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory, 9 and he said to him: “All these things I will give you if you fall down and do an act of worship to me.”

Satan wont be able to give Jesus all the kingdoms of the world if he doesnt own it.

If true based upon what I see in the world and read in the Newspapers, they aren't doing such a Hot or Godly job.

So you may have it wrong. Maybe it's a sinful man that's ruling the world or maybe it Satan.

If what I see -- do you drive a car and dump a ton of hydrocarbons into God's air, I don't and haven't in 25 years -- on a daily basis is correct, Satan is obviously in charge.

Maybe that's what revelations is all about, God coming back and finding Satan in charge and putting and end to it.

The TEMPORAY ruller of this World System is Satan, BY DEFAULT when Eve and Adam SINNED!

I say Eve FIRST, because she Sinned FIRST, See Genesis 3:1.

Christ Jesus bought back THE TITLE DEED OF ALL MANKIND by HIS FINSIHED WORK OF THE CROSS!

AND HE will calim His Kingdom and rule HERE for 1000-years! Satan = what you refer to as the ruled of this world, WILL BE BOUND TO THE PIT FOR THAT 1000-years! Then to be Loosed and JUDGED!

(Rev 20:1) And I saw an angel come down from Heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.

(Rev 20:2) And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years.

(Rev 20:3) And he cast him into the abyss and shut him up and set a seal on him, that he should deceive the nations no more until the thousand years should be fulfilled. And after that he must be loosed a little time.

(Rev 20:4) And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the witness of Jesus and for the Word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast nor his image, nor had received his mark on their foreheads, nor in their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

(Rev 20:5) But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

(Rev 20:6) Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. The second death has no authority over these, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Him a thousand years.

(Rev 20:7) And when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be loosed out of his prison.

(Rev 20:8) And he will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle. The number of them is as the sand of the sea.

(Rev 20:9) And they went up over the breadth of the earth and circled around the camp of the saints, and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of Heaven and devoured them.

(Rev 20:10) And the Devil who deceived them was cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet were . And he will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

The whole world is lying in the power of the Wicked one. SATAN. A clear example of this is the fact that, when trying to tepmt Jesus, Satan offered Jesus the World. We notice that at no time did Jesus question Satan's ownership of this wicked system.

After Adam and Eve disobeyed God, and were cast out of Eden so as to prevent them from eating of the Tree of Life, Adam surrendered his right of dominion over the earth to satan. That is who is roaming the world seeking to devourer. Satan isn't the adversary of God (God is supreme and therefore none may come against Him), he is the adversary of mankind. Free will rules the world. We all have choices for good or evil. We all have the ability to allow good or evil to exist. Not to do something is to do something. We pray "Thy Kingdom Come; Thy will be done." We pray that Jesus' Kingdom becomes a reality in this life as it is in heaven.

If you believe in Jesus, then WHAT is your question? JWs do NOT believe in Jesus. They believe He was here, but they believe He was JUST a man, and He is MUCH MORE THAN THAT!
