your hair becomes oily because in each hair there is a sebaceous gland , sometimes they even open out directly to the scalp, they give out an oily secretion called sebum which makes the hair and the outer surface of the skin oily and waterproof to keep the epidermis(outer thinner part of the skin)supple. i have also heard that too much exposing in the sun your hair becomes oily. to make your hair less oily wash your hair everyday.

Use hair products suited for oily hair. Dont do too much to your hair cause that causes oil. Wash it regularly every 2/3 days.

do one thing start a shampoo meant for oily hair. this will effectively reduce the oil. once in 15days use a multani mitti(fullers earth) pack on ur hair add raw milk to it and keep it for 1 hour and wash it off with luke warm water.. but pls no matter wat when ever u use a shampoo use a conditioner meant for oily hair.. it wil protect ur hair strands..

i know this sounds crazy, but see if you can go two days without shampooing. shampooing your hair everyday can actually increase the oil production of the sebaceous glands (oil) on your scalp. use a professional shampoo that is clarifying. use a professional conditioner (yes conditioner) but do not apply it on your scalp, only on the ends where you need it. make sure you rinse your hair really well after shampooing and conditioning.

Sometimes this happens to me. What I do is use Head and Shoulders and a light conditioner that I rinse immediately. Use every day.

I would start by using a clarifying shampoo and a conditioner that boasts that it has light weight moisture
