what is easiest and cheapest way to crush aluminum cans?

this pertains to any beverage aluminum container. also where can you buy it or simply make it?

I have had one of those can crushers on may garage wall for 5 years. Only about $5 and easier to store the cans for recycling which pays GOOD money. A small bag of crushed cans will pay for the crusher. Mount the crusher on a small board before mounting on the wall.

I've found that just stomping on an aluminum can produces inconsistent results. Instead, start the crushing process by making a dent all the way around the middle of the can. Then place the slightly dented can between your hands and press it together with a slight twisting motion. You will now have a partially crushed can about 1/4 the size of the original can. To finish the job, stand the can on its end and stomp on it, leaving you with a nice flat circular disk.

your foot is the cheapest way to crush cans. can crushers only crush up to 6 cans but cost money and dont last very long before they break . you can use the shop vice . also a powerfull shop vac works too just suck the air out of the can then flatten the edges with your foot
