ok im with this guy named travis but my ex adam is back in town and will not accept the fact that we are not together anymore and if i tell him no he is gonna hit me so i sent an email to travis saying we would have to date secretly and he will not answer his phone or my text messages and i have called from like 5 other diff phone numbers what should i do?

How do you know Adam would hit you? Has he threatened you? Has he done this in the past? Call the police on him. Press charges.
What would YOU do if you were in Travis's shoes? Date secretly? Come ON! Either you still have feelings for Adam, or in the very least, you have issues there that you need to deal with and put to an end before beginning another relationship. I don't blame Travis for not wanting to be involved in that. I wouldn't want to be either.
How would YOU feel if your man told you that you had to date secretly?
Deal with your issues with Adam whatever they are & go from there. NEVER put up with a man who is violent towards you. Domestic violence is not only morally wrong, it is a CRIME. Period.

You need to be brave and end it with Adam and if he has threatened you physically, contact the police about getting a restraining order against him and it will show him just how serious you are about it being truly over. Once you get the restraining order, contact Travis by every means possible and explain you said what you said because you were scared, but you have now been brave and faced the problem and want to be with him exclusively; he may or may not accept it.
No one in their right mind is going to play second fiddle to anyone else and date in secret as they are going to feel like you are playing them and that you really want to get back with your ex.

Either grow up and have a relationship with Travis and tell Adam its over. If he hits you, have Travis kick his ***. Or maybe you should just go on the Jerry Springer Show.

Try calling him once more, if he still doesn't anwser then you should tell him WHY you want to date secretly....
He would either agree with dating secretly or end it. The best that he could do is to confront your ex-boyfriend...
Seriously don't be afraid... it's time to face your fears and no matter what he does, make sure a whole gang of friends and family are behind you!

He is probably hurt and what do you mean this other guy would hit you?? Hitting in most parts of the country is against the law. Don't allow this bully to bully you!!! What is wrong with you??? Dont ever be afraid of anyone that tries to use physical force against you. That is not love. Stay away from this man. Do not talk to him or go around him. Stay clear of the places that he goes too. Also, do not be alone with him. Do not put yourself in that situation!!! Stand up for yourself!!!

sounds like Adam is a bit nutz. If u really like travis - I dunno if I would have told him over the email that u have to date privately. I don't think I would have appreciated that. But if he's not answering your calls - try sending another email. And as for Adam tell him to get a life - or u get a restraining order.

Your ex is just that he's your ex. It shouldn't be any of his business who your seeing. But your allowing him to make it his business and doing this you might just end up losing the bf you have now. If your ex hits you call the police. You can't let your ex ruin your whole life.
