First rattle out of the box ends with divorce and a jealous ex-wife? Hells bells!!

In other words, she wouldn't put out to Adam and make him feel like "the man" so she was cast out. (Hence where some religions make women inferior, and they have to cover their face.) No disrespect to any religion or culture, Im just trying to answer in laymen's terms.

I'm guessing she had a headache.

Eve is Adam's only wife. I don't know why people keep saying Adam had a wife before Eve. Eve was taken from Adam's rib and he called her woman. there is no mention of lilith in the bible because it is not true.

After refusing to be subservient to Adam (specifically in intercourse) Lilith uttered the name of God and flew away to the Red Sea where she mated with demons. Adam asked God to bring her back, and God sent angels who threatened to kill her demon children, one hundred for each day she was gone, if she didn't return. Lilith said that she would always prey on the Adam and Eve's descendents, and that one could only be saved by using the names of the three angels. She never came back to Adam.

Lilth left the garden because she knew she was as good and as smart as Adam. Adam did not like that. Lilith left the garden of her on accord. So I guess in a way Adam got a divorce.

Lilith was cast out for "disobeying" Adam and she was named a demon. She was often accused of taking the lives of babies (we know these deaths to be caused from SIDS).

Lilith's is now viewed as the original Feminist. Adam whined too much.

She is easily read about. You have but to look.

I named my cat after her.

She refused to submit to Adam as she believed him to be inferior, she then left the Garden of Eden of her own free will. Adam asked the angels to bring her back but she refused and was punished by God. She has also been associated with a night demon and is supposedly the mother of all incubi and succubi,a development I'm sure came later in legend in order to punish and purge this disobedient woman.

If I remember correctly, in the D.S.S. it states that 'God' cast Lilith out of the garden because she was too lustuous... too likely to tempt ADM... whatever...
