to make room for the little peppers and garlic sauces of course. plus i imagine it would cost less for the pizza place to buy normal square boxes intsead of special ordering round 1s

For every four round pizzas sold in a round box.....the corners are used to make a fifth pizza for free...this is where the company makes their most profits.......and yes it also is served in a round box?.... who's eating your corners?

It is less expensive to produce square boxes and square boxes can hold more variety of sizes of pizzas

Because how are they gonna make a circle box?? You could but it costs more money. You have to cut it to a certain dimension. You need more power and energy for it. Therefore, it costs more money!
