I don't think that there can be an answer to this question. One answer once given was pure logic, but I didnt buy that as an answer.

Pure instinct would rule their actions until they were taught certain ways to act and react, then thinking would apply in some form, wouldn't it?
After all, that's how we humans learn.

People always find a way to communicate. I would say that without language or the ability to communicate, something still happens. Even a deaf dumb and blind person will find a way to convey what he or she wants. Look around... they do it every day, mate. Buuuutttt.... if they had the inability to learn anything... they would be ruled by their immediate desires always... the id. They would resemble a baby opening and closing their hand until the get what they want. I don't know...

I fail so see how this is a joke.

they think in the same language as every1 else,its only their eyes n mouth that don't work not their brain.

they probably think more in feelings than in words and language, but who knows unless you can really get in their head?
