How long can you keep Hungarian salami in the refrigerator for?

Depends on whether it's sliced or still whole. If it's sliced, you'll need to use it in a few days. If it's still in its casing, but not in a plastic shrink wrap, then it'll keep for a week or more (although if you want to store it longer, I suggest freezing it). If it's still wrapped in the plastic you bought it in, then it'll be fine for several weeks, though again, freezing is the better long-term storage option.

It depends on how it was cured. Does it contain preservatives such as nitrites, nitrates, salts in general. Has it been dried to reduce the moisture content such as smoking or dehydrated ?
If it is a moist (summer) sausage you can dry it in a dehydrator or just an oven at very low temperature with the door open a crack.That's how we make up our jerky. If it's hard (winter) sausage it will keep longer but you should keep it refrigerated in low moisture condition...unless it's a very dry sausage like dried jerky or hard salami or the German sausage "landjagers".

do not keep it in the fridge so long! ...it is much more finer than to keep it in the fridge. :)
eat it with a little camambert cheese, fantastic.
