Well, I really like this guy and he likes me back but we never have the guts to talk to each other! We do text a lot, though and we have lots in common. Ok, so before I list all the reasons he is amazing, I am going to say... well, he kind of is in a very good financial state. So, everyone thinks I like him because he is rich, but in my list of the things I like about him, rich ISN'T one of them.
What should i do?

Life is to short to shy away from the good things. Money or not, you are attracted to this man. You say you have lots in common and text alot, surely you can be open and admit your feelings. If you are afraid of losing his friendship, get into one of those hypothetical conversations about "what ifs"... They used to say that there's so many more fish in the sea, but these days gal...the lack of clean water has mutated our fish supply! lol, JMHO...

Well, I think you've just singled that little tidbit out by simply mentioning it. If it REALLY didn't matter to you, you wouldn't have mentioned it to begin with. I don't think it's your highest priority, but it's up there. After all, you didn't mention anything about his personality, his sense of humor, his looks, or his ethical values.

Sorry; it's just my observation and opinion. But that's beside the point.

If you have a solid knowledge of the fact that this boy likes you, then what are you worried about? If you KNOW FOR A FACT that he wants to go out with you, what makes you think he'll reject you if you tell him you want to go on a date with him? It's like a football game -- you never know if you're gonna win, but you WILL lose if you don't try to win to begin with.

The best way to start is to just suggest that the two of you get together sometime. Not just to hang out -- I'm talking about making an actual guideline for an evening to spend together. You could even find a couple friends to go with you on a double date or group date. The atmosphere is MUCH better and you'll find yourself enjoying the date more than if it were one-on-one. Being with friends will also make it easier to be yourself; you'll feel like you don't have to prove anything to this guy.

The WORST possible outcome is that he never gets around to asking you out. But you've probably got a lot going for you, and eventually a guy you have your eyes on will come asking for a date. When that happens, make sure you say "yes." Then you're all set. Hope this helped.

Go for it... Take the next step and see what happens. What have you got to lose for following your heart. It may work out, but what I wouldn't do is worry about what anyone else thinks. As long as your happy it shouldn't matter anyways.

who cares what others think...if ur feeling him, that is your own business no matter what ur reasons are. so get with the program and start the ball rollin before he gets snatched up by someone else.

Ask him out on a date, face to face. text to text is impersonal and sort if icky.
