i'm having this teribble headache and i'm wondering if i should take some pills, coz later on i will be drinking alcohol. will it be alrite?

I'm not so sure it's a good idea. You may want to get a non-alcoholic drink, though the 3-hour wait MIGHT be enough to make it safe. Read the cautions on your painkiller and see what it says.

Depending on the pills, WHAT DOES THE BOTTLE SAY ABOUT MIXING THE PILLS WITH ALCOHOL?????? Tylenol is one of the worst pills to take and mix with alcohol. This can cause liver disease over time and also compromise the liver depending on how much alcohol you drink. Ever thought of the option of treating the pain and NOT DRINKING just this one night???

you will be just fine, as long as its not a major narcotic pill like percocet or something like that, ib profen is usually the safest, I've taken it with alcohol several times, you'll probably need more after you have drank for the hangover :)
