I think this happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I still haven't been able to get my rib back into place. It's a stabbing pain from the front to back. Anyone ever had this experience?

It can happen. Usually it's "just" the muscles attached to the ribs that feels sore and not actually the ribs, but sometimes a rib is distorted from hard coughing. If you're uncertain, go see a doctor.

I had that challenge back in college whilst i became on the swimming/diving group notwithstanding it harm every time I coughed or laughed. I had a pair clickity clicky ribs on my left factor and the surgeon didnt do something for me. There incredibly isnt something you're able to do, it is going to heal with the aid of itself in time..

Maybe, if it was fractured to begin with.
You might want to have it checked out if it's painful or have difficulty breathing.
My aunt fell off the stairs, broke two ribs and her her right arm. The ER doctors just cast her arm and added bandages to her rib cage to prevent a lung from being punctured. She did not require any surgery. Yours could even be a hernia.

I've heard about this happening before if the cough is violent enough.
