What's love, and do you think a relation started at 16 years has a future?

My niece met a boy when both of them were 14 years old. That was about 8 years ago.

When I heard they were planning to get married, I was very concerned about the situation, because they met when they were so young, and hadn't dated anyone else.

They've been together for about two years now, and everything appears to be going well. They're both working on Masters Degrees, and planning to have children at some point.

I think most relationships that start that early fail to develop into good marriages, but that doesn't mean it can't happen.

Love is that tingly little feeling in your stomach that lets you know that as long as the other person is there then everything will work out fine. It's the way your heartbeat speeds up whenever they're around and how your mouth goes dry when they smile. It's the tears that fill your eyes when they are hurting and it's the smile that you get when you hear them laugh.

As for a relationship that starts when you're 16 that depends on the couple really. Some couples can get together at 16 and get married a few years later and be together till the day they die. Others are incapable of that. It really depends on how mature the two people are. For instance, my boyfriend and i are a couple years apart in age. and we are both fairly young, but he's the love of my life, and extremely mature and I have a feeling that it's going to last forever.

it feels like your heart has fallen into your stomach and all you want to do is laugh and smile and be happy with that one person. Love is also the hardships that you and your bf/gf can get through together and still be able to feel you heart drop into your stomach and start smiling again.

starting at 16, you might have a future but it might not be a long future. You have to take into consideration that if college is in both u and his/her future, you might go to different colleges. Also, young love wears off and wandering eyes start moving around all the time. Try your hardest to have a great relationship, but try not to get your hopes up about a long relationship.

I believe that a relationship starting at 16 does have a future. Not always... But sometimes they relationship is strong and so is the love. You get married.. Have kids... and before you know your in the future and its working.

it is possible but you have to keep her interested in you. that means you have to be real nice and never forget holodays especialy her birthday, valentines day, and Christmas.
