Snowy owls live on the tundra. They stay in the Arctic during the winter unless their food sources are scarce. If they leave the arctic in the winter they overwinter in northern Greenland, the Canadian islands, northern Eurasia, Wrangel Island as well as North America.

There are 2 places in TN named Owl city. both are in West TN, so it would not snow plenty there, inspite of the indisputable fact that it does each so often. the really component to practice for is even if it truly is think to be a heavy snow or one which could have ice below it. do not worry, your friends will fill you in. And it seldom sticks more suitable than an afternoon or 2.

Snowy Owls are not very common anymore, sadly :( But they do live very far north. I don't know about Snowy Owls in Europe, I didn't think they lived there, but I can tell you that I Canada, they live in Northern Boreal forests (where the forest is sparse and close to open spaces - this is where I have seen them). but more commonly the tundra. I have seen them in my home province of Newfoundland and Labrador - on the island of Newfoundland which is not THAT far north, but cold and snowy.

I've only ever seen them personally in trees in Newfoundland, Quebec and Manitoba. But I have seen pictures of them out on the tundra. BEAUTIFUL birds.
