I have a friend and she met a guy 1 night, the next day she saw him and he said i forgot to ask for your number and she gave it to him, then 2 days later he stopped over to her house and said i lost your number can i have it again? She gave him the number and he said he would call later. He did and then came back over that night to her house. They had a good night talking and whatever and then he went home at midnight. The next morning he called and told her he really had a good time and was glad he met her and would call later, but has not called back at all..The thing is he has a reputation as a player and she knew all about him before they ever hung out you know how small towns are .But why did he call the next morning he did not need to, she told him she was not looking into anything seriouse. So i guess my question is would you give her the same advice as me? I told her to forget he is a player and is just stringing her along so he can continue to stop over when the mood hits.

1) Could be (stringing), but how long was it after he didn't call?
2) Usually ppl don't ask for # the first time they talk b/c it is too forward, and not appropriate or relevant. That's why he asked the next day--b/c he was interested.
3) If he wasn't interested, he wouldn't ask for #, and wouldn't hang at her house till midnight.
4) She's good so far. Just don't blow it by being too clingy too soon. This guy has a life and many ppl in his world. Don't try to be his only attention 24/7 so soon.
5) Let it develop. Have enough going-on in your lives that when you two CAN spend time together/talk, that it will be more rewarding b/c you EACH have a life full of various friends and activities.
6) Don't hate on him b/c he has friends and may be out-going and friendly with all kinds of ppl.
7) Don't Hate The Player, Hate The Game !!!

I'm a male and I agree with you. Dude is on the prowl and that's the last thing your friend needs even if she's not looking for something serious. And he has a case of Half-hiemers too, forgetting her number. That's a Red Flag right there!!!! Hello!!! Tell her to please be careful.

Yes, you gave her the right advise. I would be concerned that he just dropped by--you did not say how he got her address. I think he is just stopping by anytime he doesn't have any other offers so he can get what he wants from her. She should stay away from him or she will wind up getting hurt.

I think I,d just leave it alone ,what will be will be.Like I say time tells all, if there,s interest he,ll be back and she will know what,s up. Be cool about this one.

what you told her is exactly right but you have to keep out of it and let her see for herself..just be there for her with a giant box of tissues when he hurts her..and dont tell her "I told you so"

Guy's a jackass. Get rid of him ASAP, and if she can, let him know that she knows what he's doing, and that he's pathetic!!!
