u wont be able to go from black to brown with just a shampoo, ur hair is too dark, so it wont make a difference, so u'll probably have to look at dying it, a wash in wash out dye might do the trick for u.

Hi, I want the same as you and in the past I have bought: Luminous Glaze,from Pantene, Gorgeous Brunette, (tried them all), I dont really see significant changes in my hair, but it might be because they dont work overnight, but very slightly and overtime, but I do have shiny hair though. I have also tried Henna, and pretty much anything..when I want to change colour and notice it, unfortunately I have to go for colour packs...I like Movida (garnier), Country Colours , because they are not permanet colours and come off with the washes, but they actually last longer than it says in the box.

I used to use the Herbal Essance range when I coloured my hair it's exellent, as for shampoo, I reccomend Tresemmé, it gives your hair the kind of shine it gets when it's done by a stylist

When I color my hair I like to use natural instincts by clairol....it works great and doesn't leave your hair smelling funny
