First thing: Find someone new to do your relaxer. It sounds as if your hair is being over-processed, which is why you would have the breakage you described. Keep doing what you have been doing, and be sure to get your ends trimmed. And either cover your hair at night with a silk or satin scarf, or use a silk or satin pillow case. Good Luck!

Well healthier hair options would be to braid hair or even weave but make sure its done by a professional and not to tightly done. Also you could braid your hair at night take it out in the morning to have the curly look...
Twist braids- the two strand braid.....
To prevent breakage would be oil hair nightly
Moisturize daily
Conditon regualry
Drink water...

You should set your hair on rollers and set under the hairdryer and dry your hair. Then wrap you hair, by setting it on rollers, your will have some bounce to it and it won't be flat.

try wrapping your hair at night. that's a style that lasts for weeks and the more you train your hair in that style, the less you'll have to curl it.
