If you are being a true friend to her by expressing a concern about her b.f. then she needs to recognize that. I assume you are coming from a place of caring for her.

If her response is to disregard your feedback then she is telling you that she values her (most likely unhealthy) relationship with her b.f. more than her friendship with you.

Let me guess - is he a controlling jerk who is no good for her?

Give your friend some space.Let her know you are there for her as a friend. But if (as an example you were trying to warn her that the boy friend is no-good,or something)she may not believe you,or want to beleive that it is true.If that's why she's being protective about the boy friend.I sincerely hope she is careful, but at least she will know that her good friend is there when help is needed.

well it depends on what you are saying but if you don't say any thing that should get her protective then just forget about it and walk away when shes like that and then later on if shes fine then go and hang out with her.it also sounds like she doesn't want you in the relationship between him and her so just try not to mention him.

Sounds like your friend would prefer that you stay out of her relationship, and it's issues. That's not being mean to you, so you should just respect her wishes.
