He really cares about me and i need a way to tell him where it don't hurt his feelings or make him not like ne anymore. i bet this sounds really stupid but i am in desperate need of help!!!!

I know this sounds corny and a little overused but sweetie, if he cares about you, he'll wait (and I don't mean just going places). Although I'm not sure if we're talking about your boyfriend here but it's best to be with a person who you are comfortable with talking, about anything and everything. So, just tell him "I can't go places with you yet because me mom and dad don't really know you very well. Perhaps you wanna spend more time at my place? My mom makes great lasagna... yadda yadda yadda."

Best of luck. Oh and learn to relax.

Tell him your parents are protective of you and that they want to get to know him before they allow the two of your to go off alone together.

Try to see if your family will agree to have him over for dinner. That would be a good chance to see how he reacts to interacting with your dad. If he puts up with it (I mean the tons of questions your dad will probably ask him) then he's probably worth it.

Just be straight forward in telling him these are your families rules and you have to obey them until you (and he) can prove you guys are responsible.

Well start with the eye contact, act but be cool, yet be a little flirtacious. It's all in the eye contact. Then see what happens. Do not appear too anxcious.

I am sure he want get hurt if you explain it in a caring way. bottom line is that you should not make him feel that you are trying to move away from him.

well if someone is in love with you and really has feelings for you then be bold and tell what you want,he has to understand and respect your views. If he doesn't then tell him to think of what he wants. There is a saying here(Africa)that there is no rush in Africa

Tell him," I can't date you because I am to young for you. " If the guy likes and respects you he'll be OK with that. If he gets pissed off he was only looking for sex to begin with.
