You know what I in a way envy you. I am a black girl and would love to experience dating and being with a white guy. Dont listen to those "horror" myths they tell you. You believe what you wnat to believe dont let other people stir you wrong if you have feelings for him. If you dont then why are you with him?? If you know there will not be a chance dont get his hopes up.
In case you haven't noticed black guys (well some black guys) treat there woman like s***. I guess its best to say when you date outside your race you have a higher chance of being treated right and if that white guy is treating you right then honey what is the problem???
He seems to be a very pacient/ reasonable guy. Look he is giving you time to get adjusted how many guys you find like that?? If you are still skeptical why dont you go with him to the clinic ya'll both get tested to ease things alittle. Talk about what you like and what you dont like.
Bottom line is if you like him give him a try..... fyi- movie "Something New"
If you are not attracted to him like that then let him know he deserves to know. Dont have him crazy for you and you have no feeling in return. But whatever you do Goodluck.

Honey: I'm white, My family is mixed, Indian and I'm proud of it. I don't know what to say except you have some issues you have to resolve first. Although your saying you love him, Maybe, your saying there are some things you don't like about him, his eyes, your friends are saying don't do it, you'll be sorry, etc.
I would say to give it some more time. Maybe you should look more at his attributes, the way he treats you is one. How much of a father would he make to a half black child, think about that. A very good friend, very pretty girl is half black, she went black much to our disdain. Her five children all have five fathers now, all druggies, all beat her, etc. she really went downhill. It's not a lesson to learn but, it can happen.
The two of you, although blessed by God as man and wife, have a lot of hurdles to climb. Every time you go somewhere, where-ever you go, the looks, the stares, will be here.Good luck

Guys, whether black, white, or green are guys. Color doesn't make a difference. If your other black friends have had bad experiences with white guys it is because the guy was a loser, not because of what color he was. (and yes, I do find blonde hair and blue eyes very sexy, my hubby is blond and blue). If it's only the eye color that deters you, have him get some contacts to change the color. You can get colors without needing a script or needing glasses. Go with your heart ! You need to ask your friends if they have EVER had a bad realationship with a black guy too. Sounds like they are stereotyping whites or are a bit racist even though they don't care to admit it. If they HAVE had a bad experience with a black guy too, what does that tell you?

Wow! I really didn't think people like you existed anymore. I don't know what horror stories you have heard about white guys-did you read it in some fairy tale book or something? Sounds like your friends are racists to me. If you aren't attracted to the guy,let him go there are tons of women out there who would love and appreciate who treats someone well.

If he's the guy that you really want, then you'll get over these issues. Sounds like you're actually feeling guilty about dating outside of your race, not trying to be rude, just real.

Yeah .white colour sometimes scary.
See Michael Jackson , his horrible white skin.
But michael told us " IT DOES NOT MATTER white or black"
Respect your feeling not rumours,
If his blue eyes turn you off buy him sunglasses
I am not black , but you tell us eloquently, how difficult for us to overcome colours.
Ebony and ivory and blue are all beautiful colours, arent they?

hey my sister, I'm also black . now i want to be in Ur shoes because i wish i had had a chance with white guys! i love their blue eyes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the thing is.......stop thinking about what happen back in history and what ur friends say about those white guys. not all are the same if so then our "black' men also are the same......everywhere u go no matter the color they are, there will be good and bad people.
I'll say follow ur heart not ur mind............beside you also have to think about.............is he uncomfortable because of ur differences if so why is he choosing me when there r white girls out there???
the way i see it you really love him for who he is not including his "eye color".........................................i understand u but that's not important thing right now.
so, try to avoid what pp say and follow ur man. he might be the one!!!!!!! goodluck from my heart.

Guys will be guys, irrespective of black, white, yellow or brown. All are the same.
But it shocks me to know from your question that black girls hold us-white guys- in so much awe & contempt, what a pity!
