This is a fairly complex question with many answers. My opinion is to change what you are doing currently, but just a little. In other words, if you don't exercise at all, then start a daily exercise regime such as walking for 15min or using the stairs instead of the elevator. If you work on the 50th floor of a building, ride the elevator to the 40th floor and take the stairs the remaining 10 flights.

As far as diet, cut out all caffeine, sodas, and sugary drinks. Drink a lot of water. Caffeine interferes with your sleep. Eat breakfast every morning. This is important. And, eat quality proteins and complex carbs at every meal so that you do not have wild blood sugar swings during the day (which can result in binge eating). Good proteins for breakfast include: eggs. Lunch/dinner: fish, skinless grilled chicken. Try to eat a snack between meals, something healthy. That's right, you should be able to eat every 2-3 hours throughout the day. This is better for you than eating 2 or 3 meals a day.

Lastly, get good sleep. Try to get a full 7-8 hours per night.

First off! The coke guy. Booed. More like banned. What garbage is that! If you can't say something nice don't say anything at all!

Just be happy with who you are. Healthy Body Mass Index and Weight norms are like: 20% Body Fat and 100 pounds for 5 ft plus 5 pounds for each additional inch (Ex. Female 5'4" At least 120 lbs. 23% Body fat) I mean you don't want eating disorders either way: not anorexic and not extremely obese both are unhealthy.

Train don't strain. Don't do anything desperate or bad for your health. Ignore bad advise and talk to your family for help.

2 lbs./ week is the healthy limit.

Eat healthy, 6 meals a day one every two hours, glass of water before, during and after 3 of the 6 meals, 1,800 calories a day.

20 min cardiovascular exercise like jogging gets metabolism started; immediately followed by muscle building weight lifting which will make you sweat more and keeps muscles metabolizing energy up to 12 hrs after weight lifting work out is over.

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.

My answer is sure to be booed. However, no one can tell me that it would not work. Try cocaine. It will suppress your appetite and speed your metabolism. A friend of mine has been hitting it hard for about a month now and honestly he has lost well over ten pounds.

You can loose 12 pounds in 8 days on the Israeli diet (but you'll put the weight back on the week after). Anyway it consists of two consecutive days of only apples, two days of salad, two days of chicken and two days of cheese (no variety - same type, but as much as you want to eat).

Restrict your dietery intake to 1200 calories (get a calorie counter book from a book store) and restrict your fat intake to 30 grams a day. You dont need to excercise but it will help. It worked for me!
