Don't worry about how it takes, just keep doing the 100 crunches a day and it won't take long before you start to see results. Good luck.

First, I'm a guy - guys and girls store fat in different places on their bodies, but I hope this helps. If you have a lot of belly fat, then you must first trim the fat. Afterwards, crunches will lead to a trim look. Doing situps without trimming the fat first will result in strong abs but they'll be hidden by fat. So, how do you trim the belly fat? This is what I did and it worked. I have been running 3 times a week since March. I also have started eating healthy. It's been slow but I've lost 20 pounds and it's been around my belly and back (I went from a size 34 waist to a 30). I now do situps and weights twice a week also. My abs (and other muscle) are looking tone and trim for the first time.

I had abs in fifth grade. Mostly because i'm pretty skinny and swimming is a good workout. But I don't see why not if you already have results. But on swim team, we had swimming days and sometime dry land days (where you run and do crunches in stuff). The combination really works in the long run.

it's best to do crunches until you can't do anymore. IOW, it's not the first 20 that do much of anything...it's those last 3-4 that you pull out while straining that get you the results. But in your case you are too young to get too serious into it yet. Just take it easy and the results will come.

Crunches only work a single part of your abs. You will get better results if you do different ab workouts to so the entire abdomen is being worked

Hi...you can do crunches all day but if you are not watching what you eat, eating a healthy diet, you will not see your abs...and it is great at the age of 12 you are doing some excercise, you want good abs to help pretect your back...I hoped this helped...good luck to you.
