I don't think they have a specific standard except that they always don't believe in God. Some atheist (many times used to be Christians or came from a Christian family) do have Christian morals for the most part. Others just go by what makes sense to their concience. Sometimes you will come across atheists who believe in moral relativism, the idea that humankind and society has invented morals as a way of getting along and that in real life there is no such thing as sin or evil. This makes sense to the atheistic perspective that there is no God, because then there would be no righteous standard or laws to be obeyed other than survival of the fittest, but it is a terrible thing to not believe in morals.
But atheists vary. Even on this site, there are some very rude ones who like to insult people who don't believe what they do, but there are also polite ones that don't really try to offend anyone.

Atheists choose their own moral system. Usually one less than 2000 years old. Often the morals of atheists are similar to the concepts supposedly taught by Jesus, although obviously without the reward of heaven or the punishment of hell.
As for laws, most choose to follow the laws of the society they live in.

Since Jesus is God's perfect example of love and living that is clear struggle for most, I wonder the same thing. No belief in God is a puzzling concept and I also wonder if a person who claims to know God does not exist is aware that Christians love them anyways....not the behavior...but the person. John 14:6

You appear to think that athiests are some kind of organised group or race. Wrong.

Laws are the laws of the country you live in, morals are based on personal standards, which vary according to individuals.

Do ALL christians follow the rules exactly?

It's not any kind of organized, so no.

That said, atheists usually follow the laws in their community and country, and have their own moral codes which vary from person to person. All depends on the individual.

Most of us live by what is logical for the advancement of society. Basically, act the way you want everyone to act. It isn't written down, and you will find differences between us in a few areas.

However atheists are far and away the most under represented group in prison. There is only 0.5%-1% of the prison population that are atheists where we are somewhere around 10% of the population. We seem to have a better track record following society than the religious.

All human beings are able to follow whatever moral or ethical guidelines they see fit, and these guidelines need not be encased in a religious belief system.

Indeed, many who claim to follow religious paths stray from what their teachings state, speaking or acting against what they say they believe, even commiting crimes.

Atheists are those who are not attracted to god,They follow the rules of the country and driven by conscience.God has no impression on them.
They don't form any group. They are just individuals scattered all over the world.

Most are the same ones that religions teach people to follow with respect to their behavior towards other people. Those morals of course predate any current religious belief system, and probably come as a result of the basic needs of society.

As far as contrasts with religious people, atheists place more value on honesty and truth than do religious people, while religious people place more value on "not rocking the boat" and preserving tradition than do atheists. I think that's the basic difference: if you're more deeply devoted to truth than to tradition, you're probably an atheist. If you're more devoted to tradition, you're probably religious.

Well, I can tell you what a Satanist believes, and many Satanists are Atheist. We define what are own "Gods" are. For the most part we worship ourselves, we don't even worship Satan. We do have certain "moral" standards that we adhere to, but we define what many of those standards are. - Voodoo
