Nescafe or any coffee except decaffeinated coffee contains caffeine which is a stimulant, meaning it makes your mind active and your heart beats faster thus you are able to concentrate on what you are doing because you are not sleepy. If you drink this during nighttime when you are about to sleep, it might be difficult for you to sleep. But some people who get used to drinking coffee becomes somewhat immuned to the effect of caffiene as they are able to sleep even if they drink coffee before sleeping.

The caffine in a strong cup of coffee will make a person feel more awake; this is true... BUT.
Did you know that a cup of coffee given to a normaly hyperactive child with mild ADD or ADHD will cause him/her to calm down and focus better at school?
Caffine has a diffrent reaction to this cemical imbalance, and several adults with active work habits and high stress jobs use caffine to calm down and focus better at their jobs.
Several adults have mild ADD that goes untreated cause of this 'self medication'.. And it's a whole heck of a lot cheeper than perscription drugs.

Anything with caffeine can make you feel more alert which can help you focus better for a short time. It can also make you jittery which in fact makes you less able to concentrate.
I have heard that green tea can help with concentration.
