I don't feel that there's anything wrong with a girl proposing to a guy. In fact it would be quite flattering.
Based on tradition, it has always been the man that proposes to the woman.

Proposal of marriage is not necessarily the man's domain. My mother proposed to my father. My husband and I reached the decision that we wanted to get married by discussing it. Sometimes the man needs a little 'push' anyway

Well these days its up to both, and the fact of the matter is most women prefer to wait for the man to be ready. Which usually is a long time...unless something is wrong lol..
But its just rare to hear a women purpose to a man, due to the fact that they may not be ready. Women become more romantically and mentally attached and ready then most men.
Most of us are born ready to be mothers and great wives...but men it kinda takes them some time to decide if she is what i want and if I want this now for forever.

Because take such kind of girls fro granted and they also disrecpect them..thats why even if a girl likes a uy they wait for him to propose to her and she just throws hints at him so show her that she likes him

if a gal approaches a guy then the guy himself feels that:-
1. the gal is too bold
2. maybe she's had affairs with numerous other guyz
3. she's just flirting / she's ok for time pass
4. now that she's proposed me......for the rest of her life......she has to make all the compromises and sacrifices....i am the king
5. if they ultimately work it out also.....the guy always makes her feel that "i didn't come after you....you were the one who proposed me"..."marrying me has been more of your choice than mine"

Because if girls proposed, they would do it after 3 months of dating and then constantly. Will you marry me? What about now? How about now? Are you ready yet? Now? When do you think you will be ready? Are you ready now? Will you marry me tomorrow? What about the next day?

funny u should say that cos my partner who im expecting a child with sais he wants to get married and we can even get me a ring but hes waitig for me to propose to him and i told him to stick it.thats my special moment why should i miss out.also pisses me off that hes been engaged before and he asked her what makes her so special!
