Same label, same advertisement, same appley goodness but why the different name..

It is solely to do with with ownership of the name Bulmers -- that name is a trademark of other companies outside of Ireland, hence for international marketing they had to pick another name. Bulmers Original Irish Cider is a cider produced in Ireland. To prevent confusion with the English cider of the same name it is sold outside of the Republic of Ireland as Magners.

This is the case for many products. In America several products are called by different names depending on which coast they are sold on. Don't really know why, probably has something to do with the international distributors.
