When I was 13 my family and I started going to this caravan park every Christmas holidays. My sister and I had a big group of friends. My sister was going out with this guy so she wanted me to have a boyfriend too so she asked out this guy for me. I really liked him but my sister and this other girl (way prettier than me) started flirting with my boyfriend. Not wanted to get hurt, I dumped him before he could dump me. We ended up just being friends. I haven’t seen him in like three years but we still talk to each other over the phone.
The other day he called asking advice about getting together with this girl. Being his friend I said “go for it” but he ended up not getting together with her because he said it was not what he wanted. Later on that night I sent him a sms asking him what he wanted and he sent back an sms saying ‘u’ (meaning myself)

He than sent another sms saying “it doesn’t matter cause you won’t give me an answer back” I sent back a text saying “Why didn’t you just tell me straight up?” Than he called me and it was just an uncomtable silence. I told him to hang up cause it was pointless not talking.
After hanging up from the phone he texted me and said “Why make me tell you what I want when we both know it ain’t gonna happen” So I sent back a message saying “I don’t know where I stand with you. One minute you’re trying to hook up with some chick and then the next minute your telling me you want to be with me. How am I supposed to be?”
He sent back a message saying “I don’t wanna be with any others girls cause all I can think about is you”…

After sending a few messages to each other I said “good night” at the end of the message than he sent back saying “Forever”. I got a little freaked out thinking he was going to do something stupid so I sent back a text saying “I love you but at the moment you scaring me. If I didn’t like you than why would I have gone out with you in the first place”… And than all he sent back was “Who knows”..
So what do you guys think. Have I totally f ucked it with him? I really want to talk to him but I don’t know weather I should give him time to cool off.. I really like this guy. I don't wanna lose him.

Jump in a car and get yourself to where ever he is do not miss out on this opportunity. 3 years of phone based relationship is a pretty good indication he is interested apart from the fact that he flat out told you that all he thinks about is you. Be the mature one in this and just go and sort it out before its to late. Why dance around the obvious you both like each other. Make it official.

I understand what u mean, i am lately into a gal whom i know for 4 months. she too, keep doubting my desire for her and while i being tolerant and express my sincerity in keep reassuring her, she kept asking me why i like her and that her friend said i am a play boy.
gosh did she know i pray every night for these relationship?? my dear, from your text i can see that he does really like u alot but with sour text.
Do, appreciate and be thankful for this chap ok and since both of u like each other, give each other a chance but i reckon u are 16 now, still too young, let this feeling being nurture and when u are 20, u can go!!

It could be that there never was a "some chick". It could be that this was his way of bringing up the subject in order to get your opinion without making himself vulnerable. I suggest you two have a very long, honest, and serious talk. Playing games will only make things much worse.

He really likes you but he is shy and is scared that you don't want to get back with him. He is just saying that he is going to be with another girl because he wants you to be jealous so maybe he can get you back. So if I was you I would just be straight up with him and have a serious talk and tell him your feelings for him and tell him to tell you his. Its so ovious yall both like each other. So go for it.

um, why don't you focus on going to college, I'm taking it that you're like 16 years old now, forget him and focus on school. LOL, unless you're being serious, just be honest with him, and you should be OK, no you didn't ruin your chance, you're both just shy I take it. talk to him and see what he wants, if you both are destined to be together then it will happen
