My Bf is 22 and a virign, we have been dating for a month now. He wants to wait to have sex until he is in love, which I admire, but I sometimes feel so impatient waiting for him to make any type of move. When I initiate things, he is always ready and willing, but he always seems too shy to do it himself, even to ask me to do things or hang out most of the time. I'm not in a rush to have sex, but i would like to at least move some of the physical stuff along but I can wait. What I'm wondering is, since he is so shy, will he actually move things along himself? or should I?

He will move things along himself once he feels totally comfortable with it. You should respect that just like he respects you. If you said yourself your not in a rush to have sex, then dont worry about it!!! It will happen in due time. Focus now on building open and honest communication. This way you would openly be able to discuss these things with him.

IMO, if he is as shy as you say he is, regardless of the sex issue, you are likely to never be satisfied in the relationship and the relationship is doomed to ultimately fail.
Also, if you do initiate sex with him and he goes along with it, you'll likely be "creating a monster" by opening pandora's box. Right now, he doesn't know what he's missing. The first time he actually enjoy's it, everything will change.

Are you ready for a kid??? (even if ur "kid proofed", things can go wrong). Ever consider that maybe he's unsure of himself, in that he figures he won't "do it right"/make you happy? You don't say how old you are or how 'experienced'. If ur much younger or more experienced, this may bother him too. If he's so shy, maybe he can't bring himself to go to the drug store for those all important add-ons. Maybe (as one poster hints) he just doesn't like girls in the way you expect.

If you can't settle for just hugs and kisses then I suggest u really think about this. If ur going to initiate sex, bear in mind that you might scare him and he'll just run away from you. That'll be awkward. Just talk to him and tell him how u really feel.
A good relationship needs good communication.
This might just be a hurdle u need to overcome in order to strenghten your relationship.

NO!!! Leave that alone. Be grateful that he doesn't just want you for sex. Get to know him. That is most important. Actually, you really should wait until you are married.
