Is it not sad that the country that called Steve Erwin a hero outlawed the breed of dog he loved?

It is not necessary to ban any breed. This is total stupid and ignorance. A Rottweiler could be more aggressive than a pit. So is any other mastiff breed. All dogs are aggressive with strangers and other dogs. The solution to this would be good laws and requisites to own a pitt or other so called "risk" dogs.

no it is not sad a lot of people here in down under get killed by pit bull and you know it is not the dog that is bad it is the owners and Steve would be a good owner because animals was his live and there is a lot of people who got pit bulls and don't know how to handle them and that is what we want to outlaw

no it is not sad because this breed of dog was bred for fighting ,not being pets. They have human agressive genes and animal agressive genes,yes they may be reccesive but they can pop into play anytime. I wish the total united states would ban this breed and make it illegal to breed them . good luck.

It is soo sad that a tear rolled out of my eye when i read this.... That is THE worst thing i have ever heard, angels weep, storms brew and Steve dies when this happened

Yes it is sad.But face the fact that not everyone down under is as caring and understanding of an animals needs as he was.

it isn't sad because many people that get pitbulls dont give them enough love and thats when pitbulls get agressive and an agressive pitbull is bad because they are very strong and will attack. I own a pitbull but you have to play alot or else...
