yes, soak it in brandy and to give it that extra taste add fine chopped fresh ginger and tea spoon of cornfour (the cornflour will tenderise it) and mix all together. cover your plate with clingfilm when you've put it on your plate. take out of the fridge 1 hour before cooking. if possible fry it in a pan with a little olive oil instead of grilling and you'll get all the sauce going back into your steak whilst its being cooked.

There are many recipes for using brandy in a marinade or grilling glaze. Do a word search and they will pop up. You can look through the recipes and choose the one that will work best for you.
You don't want to just pour a lot of brandy over the meat the night before. You need to mix it with other things and usually don't need more than 1/2 cup. Sounds delicious to me!
Happy cooking and eating!

Brandy can be used in both marinades and also sauces with amazing results. Sometimes, you can use the marinade to make your sauce from it. I would add some additional ingredients to my marinade for more taste, here is an example:
1/4 cup olive oil (vegetable can do too, i prefer olive oil)
1/2 cup brandy (or red wine if you prefer)
1 tablespoon lemon juice (or lime if you have)
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
If you have zip bags they work best. Let marinade in the fridge for at least 8 hours or overnight.
Enjoy!

You can - but it tastes quite bitter when marinated as the beef loses any of it's natural sweetness. It is better (if you really want to use brandy) to make a brandy & cream reduction - de-glaze the pan with a small amount of brandy & add cream, salt & pepper to season.

Yes it would taste great as well!
I would keep the marinade, fry some finely sliced onions in butter, add the brandy and then a dash of cream for a lovely sauce.
