Do you mean your mouth? People normally get their lip (singular) pierced on their face, however 'lips' - hmmm. Some people can do amazing things, but pulling off a rendidtion of Amazing Grace on the French Horn with their vagina would be something I'd pay good money to see. My clitoris is pierced, but unfortunately I cannot get my twanny to read music properly, so it's purely decorative. Have a great day!

I think it depends on the guage of the piercing, I have an 18g in my lip and air doesn't escape from mine. I do have a harder time whistling though while I'm wearing it, but I don't know about playing instruments, but I can still blow up balloons fine!

Haaaaaaaaaa. I'm sorry I just burst out laughing. That is one of the most hilariously worded questions I have ever seen. I loved the way you were so urgent about the notion of AIR ESCAPING!!! But humour is good. So well done. Good luck with the lip/balloons/wind instruments :-)

Yikes, most all piercings and most all tattoos are just plain creepy and disgusting.

They both will inhibit your future in getting decent job, except maybe as a balloon artist or a marching band member.

I knew someone who liked to squirt water out of their lip peircing hole - that was a bit gross.
Not that much water came out, so I wouldn't think it would have much of an effect on wind insturments and balloon blowing. The stud would block it rather alot I would imagine - he took the stud out to squirt water.

Nahh you just get used to it.
I don't think air escapes.
Some people can squirt liquid through the hole when the ring/bar's taken out but I could never do that when I had mine pierced.
Hmm!!
