Yes, it hurts. Both the piercing and afterwards until the skin heals. And it will definitely hurt if it gets pulled or snags.
For god's sake, if you do it, do it with a sterile clean studio and keep the piercings clean, you don't want an infection, they can turn life threatening!!!

No idea about a nose ring but a belly ring does not hurt.

I have had both. And no I am not trashy and I do not live in a trailer park. The nose piercing does not hurt it will cause your eyes to water. It feels similiar to being poked with a needle. Which basically is the procedure in a nutshell. The bellyring is only painful afterwards if it is not cleaned correctly. As with any piercing make sure you keep it clean. They will heal properly if you take care of them.

a belly ring does not hurt you feel a kinda of a pinch and thats it really i dont know about the nose

I can't talk for belly piercings but I got my nose pierced a little over a week ago.
It obviously hurt, but not as bad as I thought. It felt like I was getting a shot.

The both hurt A LOT and can get infected very easily and scab over and make big scars. Mine did. DO NOT DO IT.
Plus you cannot get a job with a nasty, boogery nose ring in your nose.

belly piercing ...hurts. but im just a wimp. you can only really feel the needle going through your skin, and once its done there is no pain at all, its worth getting done in my opinion. as for nose piercings i went with my friend to get hers, and incase any1 does its illegal to use a gun for nose piercing , they should use a needle, . my friends nose that was pierced with a gun got infected and it was weird.
so she had it done again this time with a needle and she screamed all the way through it. but now she is really happy that she had it done, and i think it looks quite cute too.

I have heard they hurt like hell, plus they make you look like a 16 year old tramp from a trailer park. I'm a decent normal guy so listen when I say that tats and piercings make you look trashy. Just remember, you'll be an old wrinkly women some day. No-one wants to bring their tatooed and pierced grandma to the school play.

No,the rings themselves won't feel a thing.However,your nose and belly will hurt like hell.
