leave teens with mother in law and go away for the weekend

tell mother in law that her son needs a vacation - he's worn out. could she take care of the kids for a few days so that the two of you can go away for some well deserved rest...and would she mind if you called on her to watch over the kids maybe once or twice a month so that your husband and you could spend some quiet time together to make him feel more relaxed.

book a short break for you and hubby and ask the MIL to take care of the teen.....there....problem solved....get some time with your hubby hun....i am sure the teen will be in good hands while your away....

Put a lock on the bedroom door and teach the others in the house that your time together is not to be interupted unless the blood flow can't be stopped.

have teens take mother-in-law out to dinner, to the mall or movies or on a bus tour to far, but not too far, museum or historical site..
