Break it up and press it into the bottom of a casserole dish, pour chocolate sauce over it so that it is completely covered; then put it in the oven to warm through. MMM it's a wonderful pudding. It will then stay moist and keep in the fridge for atleast two or three days. Happy eating! :o)

Create the perfect brunch for someone who doesn't deserve it, the little 'Devils' in your life!
Take 5 Free range eggs, crack and gently blend in a bowl.
Add 1/2 teaspoon of exquisite imported vanilla extract.
Add 2 tablespoons of vitamin-enriched, unsweetened soy milk.
Add 1/2 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil and blend all ingredients.
Melt a lot of organic free range butter in an iron stone skillet.
Slice the chocolate cake like bread slices, and gently dip them in the batter, coating boths sides thoroughly.
Fry the battered slices until golden brown. Keep warm between wax paper in the oven.
Serve with sliced peaches or raspberries (slightly thawed frozen are fine) Garnish with Haagen Daz or Dove Vanilla Ice cream.
Serve with Cranberry-pomegranite juice or your favorite French Burgundy.
Afterward, make love, do a jigsaw puzzle or take a nap with your favorite little devil. You're going to need some sleep after a breakfast like this -- Enjoy!
If you are dieting, take a little nibble while you conjure, and then wrap the whole thing in a leftover Xmas basket and drive down to the local 7-11 and hang around until a homeless guy asks for change, and then give him this combo brunch-dessert, a $5 bill and a nice bottle of wine (screwtop preferred).
Of course I know he's probably an alcoholic, but it isn't your job to fix people, Mom, it's your job to BE KIND.
So when life dumps devils and leftover chocolate cake on your doorstep, be a real angel, why not?
P.S. It can be frozen, but doesn't my idea sound like a whole lot more fun, and couldn't you use some fun, about NOW?

Rum Balls Recipe using leftover cake Ingredients 2 cups finely ground cake crumbs from a leftover cake 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, optional 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted, plus extra for rolling 1 cup finely chopped pecans or walnuts 2 to 4 tablespoons honey 1/4 cup dark rum 4 ounces semisweet chocolate, melted, optional Directions In a mixing bowl fitted with the paddle attachment, or by hand, mix together the cake crumbs, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and nuts. Stir in the 2 tablespoons of honey and the rum. Using your hands, try to form the mixture into a ball. If the mixture won't hold together add a little more honey. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls, then roll them in powdered sugar or melted chocolate, and let them set up. Then, let them age or ripen 24 hours. Notes about the recipe: I toured Sara Lee Bakeries when I was a kid and they had scrap bins in laundry carts but it went to a local pig farmer. I used to make these in my bakery to use up all the trim from my cake layers. We kept a 5-gallon bucket, as most bakeries do, where we throw all the trims and once a week make rum balls. So each time, they were a little different depending on the content of the scraps.

Push it through screen I could just eat some choccy cake, I would never have any leftover so I cant really help, I am a pig for chocolate cake I even pick up the crumbs

What I do with left over cake, any cake is I freeze it and later on whenIi have time I make some custard pudding and add the cake, of course cut into smaller pieces and add them to the pudding - it is just yum, my kids love it and they don't even realize it was the same old left over cake.

Mix it with Chocolate Ice Cream and pour on warm, drizzled melted chocolate mixed with double cream. Or wait until it goes hard and use it as a podium for kareoke nights. Or send it to me? Or give it away in party bags on the street (not good if you look Russian at the moment though). Also, at Somerfield recycling centre, there is a cake recycling bin next to the one for paper. Yes, you can freeze the left over cake. First wrap it in plastic film and then in foil to keep it from drying out. You should be able to keep it frozen for 3 months and still have good cake when you take it out. We have two weddings coming up in our family and this is what they recommend for the "anniversary" cake that is the top layer saved for the bride and groom's first anniversary.

make a pear and chocolate trifle! put tin pears in a bowl, but hold off on the juice (must be juice) then cut your chocolate cake up and mix it with the pears, then add a little of the juice so it becomes soggy, but not too wet. then on top of that add home made or packet chocolate custard and leave to set, serve with cream, honest to god it is delicious!
