there is an old saying
love and hate have a thin line between them
but when i heard this saying and found applied sources of phycology to this... i found most of the time... when this 'happens' its either b/c a person doesn't like to be alone, or just think they need love...

Yes, take me for example....I am married to a wonderful man that can't stand to be around. He's in California, I'm in Oregon and we see each other once a month....what a wonderful life it is now!!!!

Absolutely!
I love my wife dearly. She's sweet and takes really good care of me and the kids. But I can't tell you how grateful I am that she works nights! lol

Yes it is.... I Love my Gf but I dont like her at all... she is so... opposite.... but there is something that keep us both linked. thats is love.... loving regardless of differences or not liking each other... kinda weird... but true....
