Yes, it helps getting back into balance but you need to do other things to help. In your mouth and other places especially the vagina, you have bacteria and yeast that competes against each other.

You must stop feeding the yeast!

Yeast feeds on sugar/creamy cheese (soda, candy, sugared gum, syrup, chocolate, etc.). As the yeast dies, it produces the white gunk (toxins) and that is why you know you have thrush.

I believe all Doctors should have patients eat real (non-pasteurized) yogurt while taking antibiotics. I can give myself thrush within 4-6 days by drinking soda and eating a lot candy throughout the day ever since I was on long term antibiotics about 12 years ago.

There are meds that doctors can prescribe but they do not work unless you stop feeding the yeast.

I can starve out the yeast and clear up the yeast infection within a week without seeing a Doctor/prescriptions. (I'm a guy thus I'm talking strictly of my mouth but I've known women that has applied the yogurt to their stuff and it helped them).

See my profile to e-mail me if I can be of any further assistance.
