Is it true you can lie in any way to convince people that islam is good and that Allah approves of this lying!

well u certainly don't know what takiyyah means. Islam forbids lieing. U no what I'm sick and tired of people coming up with there own meanings of Islam. A tip for u. Go and research Islam fully. Don't just listen and believe what people tell you. And for the meaning of takiyyah .
The Arabic word, "Takeyya", means "to prevent," or guard against. The principle of Al Takeyya conveys the understanding that Muslims are permitted to lie as a preventive measure against anticipated harm to one's self or fellow Muslims.
This principle gives Muslims the liberty to lie under circumstances that they perceive as life threatening. They can even deny the faith, if they do not mean it in their hearts.
So basically it means if your in a life threatening situation you can lie that your not a muslim . because in many places in the world they kill you if your a muslims.

People have forged this term.There is no such term in Quran and authentic hadith.If U can proof me from quran and authentic hadith then it is reight.I bet u can't find this term in quran and authentic haith.We muslims only have to follow the Quran(the last revelation of almight Allah)and authentic hadith!

If Allah forgives all and punishes none, who will obey him?
If Allah (swt) forgives each and every human being and punishes no one, then why should the human beings obey the command of Allah (swt)? I do agree that no one will go to hell, but this world would become hell to live in. If all human beings are going to go to heaven then what is the purpose and use of the human beings to come to this world, this life cannot be called a test for the hereafter.
Islam is without doubt the best religion but the media is in the hands of the westerners who are afraid of Islam. The media is continuously broadcasting and printing information against Islam. They either provide misinformation about Islam, misquote Islam or project a point out of proportion, if any.
When any bomb blasts take place anywhere, the first people to be accused without proof are invariably the Muslims. This appears as headlines in the news. Later, when they find that non-Muslims were responsible, it appears as an insignificant news’ item.
If a 50 year old Muslim marries a 15 year old girl after taking her permission, it appears on the front page but when a 50 year old non-Muslim rapes a 6 year old girl, it may appear in the news in the inside pages as ‘Newsbriefs’. Everyday in America on an average 2,713 cases of rape take place but it doesn’t appear in the news, since it has become a way of life for the Americans.
am aware that there are some Muslims who are dishonest, unreliable, who cheat, etc. but the media projects this as though only Muslims are involved in such activities. There are black sheep in every community. I know Muslims who are alcoholics and who can drink most of the non-Muslims under the table.
Inspite of all the black sheep in the Muslim community, Muslims taken on the whole, yet form the best community in the world. We are the biggest community of tee-totallers as a whole, i.e. those who don’t imbibe alcohol. Collectively, we are a community which gives the maximum charity in the world. There is not a single person in the world who can even show a candle to the Muslims where modesty is concerned; where sobriety is concerned; where human values and ethics are concerned.
ISLAM forbids lying..ThERe is no doubt that Islam is the best religon.If you want to know about the religon read its scriptures not see the black sheeps.If you want to know about our religon read its scriptures and the authentic hadith.I bet u will not find that anywhere.instead it says"Invite (all) to the way of thy lord with wisdom and beautiul preaching;and argue with them in the ways that are best and most gracious.(Holy quran-16:125) U have bet and got the honest answer now i Bet and m waiting for ur answer.FIND ANY ONE VERSE OF QURAN OR AUTHENTIC HADITH WHICH GOES AGAINST HUMANITY AS A WHOLE.I BET!!!!!!!!!!!

well, I will be honest with you and I will try to make it simple. As Muslims we believe in Judaism and Christianity. We believe in Jesus and Mary but we don't believe in trinity. Jesus for Muslim is just a sacred human and a messenger of god who was honored to be without father. Whether Christians go to heaven or hill simply we believe that all the Christians before Mohammed (the last messenger of God) will go directly to heaven. But after the Islam appeared which was about 600 years after Jesus. We believe that this is the last religion and all the people must follow that religion to be able to go for heaven. well, Some people will say we haven't heard about Islam so why we deserve hill, As Muslim actually we are not sure of that because one of the god characteristics is the total fairness and that mean no one can blame those people. So at the end the good people should go to heaven and the bad must go to hill.

Therefore it is you who are spreading all kinds of myths about Islam.
How can you propagate such a big & great religion which is based on lies ???

A religion based on lies can not hold so many, so different people for so long. Thats for sure.
In present times you can not fool people by lies. If you were to be true, Islam couldnt be the fastest growing religion in the world.

I believe that you have taken traditions of 'Takayyah' in some sects in 'Shiet' as Islamic beliefs.
This tradition was already prevailing before the advent of Islam and still continued in some sects.
Therefore you can NOT blame Islam for this since there are several traditions in Hindus like SATI, CHILD MARRIAGE, DOWRY etc which are not endorsed by Hindu scriptures.

In Islam, sorry dude- never heard of this word in the Quran. So you are right that you ‘won't get any honest answers’. If you can tell us where you get this so called ‘concept’----any articles or books maybe we are able to give you our best answers.
Just take note of this -----Yet time and again in the biography of our beloved Prophet (sirah), we see him exemplifying the exhortation of the Quranic verse: "There is no compulsion in religion. Truth stands out clear from error.” .So for Muslims to tell lies in matters pertaining to religion is absurd. Telling lies or even thinking about committing it on any matters whatsoever is absolutely not allowed in Islam. In my layman terms the tolerance level for lies in Islam is Zero.
The blessed Messenger (pbuh) and his companions were transmitters of spiritual truth and stewards of practical wisdom who aimed to bring forth a civil, just and equitable human multi-ethnic society where each man was not only responsible to cultivate his awareness of and obedience to the One Lord of Compassion and Mercy, but also duty-bound to help his fellow human beings get along in the world. Thus the Islamic Shari’ah has no preference for any ethnic group or linguistic culture but it points the way to a prodigious kingdom in the after life for one and all.

Honesty and truthfulness is THE HIGHEST trait of a believer. From Islamic viewpoint, this prioritiy is of utmost importance because the prophet (pbuh) himself staked his claim of prophethood before the people of Makkah on the basis of his recognized truthfulness and trustworthiness. Indeed, the Makkan community itself decorated him with the title "Al-Amin" (the trustworthy).
Thus, honesty and truthfulness are among the highest traits of the believers. That is the Islamic norm and those who care about their Akhirah and salvation should take that much seriously.
At the same time, Islam is for the entire humanity consisting of people of faith of different depth and grade. Thus, not everyone can be expected to live up to the highest standard of honesty or truthfulness.
Some exceptions based on real life situation.
1. Threat to life of oneself or others. There is a PERMISSION (not commandment) to avoid speaking the truth, if one's life is endangered. In case, speaking the truth would endanger others' lives (relatives or fellows), one can have even greater leeway.
In Islamic history there were many illustrious personalities who have preferred to speak the truth even over their lives.
2. Some (white) lies are permissible under two conditions: (a) the purpose is reconcilation between people, including the person lying himself and another person. (b) lying does not become habitual.
Some verses from the Qur'an:
"O you who believe! Be careful of your duty to Allah, and be with the TRUTHFUL." [9/at-Tauba/119]
Some Hadiths from the Prophet (s):
"Malik related to me that he heard that Abdullah ibn Masud used to say, "You must tell the truth. Truthfulness leads to right action. Right action leads to the Garden. Beware of lying. Lying leads to corruption, and corruption leads to the Fire. Don't you see that it is said, 'He speaks the truth and acts rightly,' and, 'He lies and is corrupt.'" [Muatta Imam Malik, Book 56, Number 56.7.16]
Narrated Um Kulthum bint Uqba: That she heard God's Apostle saying, "He who makes peace between the people by inventing good information or saying good things, is not a liar." [Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 3, Book 49, Number 857]
I have not found this term "takkiyah" in the Qu'ran or Authentic Sunnah. But I have outline when lying is permissible.

What is hated about jesting is continuous indulgence and
excessiveness, as well as making up stories, lying and propagating half-truths (distorting something or making 'mountains of molehills'), in order to make others laugh. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Woe to the person who speak! lies to make people laugh, woe to him, woe to him." [Ahmad, Abu Dawood & others]
However, if one controls himself by jesting only with truth, causing no hurt to anyone, and neither is he excessive with it, then there is no sin in jesting, nor would there be any harm. And Allah knows best.
Life is a trust from Allah and should therefore be treated seriously.

Only the Shi'a consider this practice to be lawful, they believe it is alright to lie to Muslims, they will get rewarded for it. It is also appropriate for them to steal from Muslims. They believe all Muslims will go to hell. By the way, Shi'a are not Muslims.

second of all i tried to know what's the word takiyyah means i couldn't find .. (mother tongue arabic )
but i found that the word takiyyah is an arabic world if i'm right i'll tell you what it means ....
takiyyah is a place rich people have they put homeless and poor people in it ... support them with shelter and food for the sake of good .....

You lost your bet dude.
The doctrine of "taqiyya" is taught and practised by the Shia Muslims only. Mainstream Muslims, i.e. the Sunnis, do not practise such doctrine. God knows best why it is taught by the sect of Shia Islam.
