God placed both the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil (the forbidden tree) in the middle of the Garden of Eden. It is altogether a matter of choice for man. God created man with a will, able to choose God or otherwise. The tree of life signifies God, in particular, God wanting to be man's life and everything to man, but if man chooses the tree of knowledge, that is independence from God.

There were actually two trees. The most notable being 'The tree of knowledge'. The other being the tree of life. The reason for casting out,was not only for eating of the forbidden fruit and gaining awareness, but to get the humans out of the garden before gaining the gift of immortality. G-D and the 'Host' had a meeting and said "Look, they want to become like us".As to 'HIS' reasoning? Don't know.If I did I'd be 'HIM'.

If it incredibly is a real tale then god knew we've been going to consume it yet, Gave it to us in any case because of the fact he DID supply us unfastened will. He nevertheless gave us the alternative even however he knew the result. He might desire to of definitely controlled us and not given us that tree, yet besides the shown fact that we'd in no way have had that selection appropriate? i don't think of humankind is a device to take down devil yet, only a vessel upon which to make the choice to do good or evil. hence representing God himself or devil. of direction it incredibly is all only philosophy in any case. -.-
