First step is to get the dog chipped.
then Anti rage
then blood test
then 6 month wait from blood test result
then another blood test because the result isn't valid for 6 months
then, 24-48 hours before travel the dog has to be checked for ticks and worms.

Dogs taken out of England with a view to coming back again must have a passport or they'll need quarantine.
I'm afraid I don't know about them initially entering the UK.. I would assume passport is the way to go.. best to check with your vet.
I would avoid quarantine at all costs. I have heard stories of places of quarantine closing down and the owners being given 24 hours to find somewhere else to relocate their animal or the animal will be euthanised... I know this is unusual but the thought that is could happen is enough to put me off the idea.
It might be worth also calling up customs and excise in the UK and see what their animal department says or try this website...

You need to get a doggie passport to avoid quarantine which is 6 months and very expensive.
To get a doggie passport you have to have the dog micro-chipped
and vacinated against all of the usual dog viruses plus rabies and kennel cough.
You have to have the rabies jabs done at least 6 months before travelling and you need to have a blood test done to be sure the dog is immune.
24hours before travelling you need to see a vet to make sure the animal is fit to travel and get a certificate.
It is best to travel over by the channel tunnel because then you can stay with your dog in the car.
My sister regularly travels between France and England via the channel tunnel and her dog is used to it and always fine.

i'm unsure with regards to the guidelines in this, you would be superb chatting with the suitable people yet, i will say that there hasn't been an *outbreak* of rabies right here, a canines rescue charity theory it a sturdy theory to rescue canines from overseas (like we've not have been given adequate homeless canines already) an 8 week previous doggy became discovered to have rabies, the doggy had no touch with different canines and so on and became quarantined immediately. A bat became presently discovered that had rabies even with the certainty that eu bats are wide-spread to hold this affliction and is doubtless of no super concern.

first u need to take your dog to the vet and have him vaccinated for rabies.then u should call the carantine at the airport and ask what other papers u need(sometimes u need to go to the zoo or the department of health for animals).u should also call the english embassy and ask if england accepts dogs(some countries don't-e.g.germany).ur dog can travel with u on the plane,in overweight.when u go to check-in point tell them u want to take ur dog with u.by the way,u need a special cage for her.they will see how heavy ur dog is and u pay like u pay for overweight baggage.the price depends on each airline.but it is guarranteed that ur dog will arrive at the same time with u in england.

yes she can come to england on the pets passport. she needs to fully vaccanated micochipped and have a rabies vaccanation as well and most prob a blood test as well. it takes about 3-6 months from start to finish but it is worth while doing. it lost about £200 in england for each dog.

you need to go to your vet and get the relevant injections they have to be done quite a while before travelling so i would see one now to make arrangements when all have been done you can apply for a pet passport for it you don't need to go into quarantine if you are in France there are countries not covered by the pet passport but not France...as many come over for shows

The dog will have to go into quarantine for several months if it doesn't have a pet passport and all relevent documentation.
And you will have to pay for the quarantine costs

having no chip or vaccinations in France is illegal. You will need to have these done before you can bring her back, but given that you willingly put her health at risk by not having vaccinations done, I would leave her there with a true dog lover who will care for her properly.
