no, when you work out your muscles tear and in the open spot more muscles grow, this is normal, but if it hurts alot then you are over working your self, try to do less reps or use a little less weight for a while and work your way up slower

I've had this problem myself, mostly when I overdid it. Cut back just a bit and see how that helps. A little pain isn't a bad thing but you shouldn't have pain or lack of movement that interferes with your ability to function.
Stretching out before and after a workout is also a must.

you have gotten the two torn a muscle or sprained it. i could bypass get it looked at if it worsens to any extent further. particularly, doing bicep curls there's a possiblity of straining your wrist or pulling a ligament. Ihate that it hurts!!

In my experience, it is normal to experience pain or discomfort if you exercise beyond your normal level of activity. I always had a theory that if you worked in the gym until it hurt, then the chances of pain the next day were reduced. if you worked hard but didn't get to the painful level...chances were you would get pain the next day. this is not a medical theory you understand, just observations based on anecdotal experience.
Hope this helps

If your new to working out or not, maybe you over did it.. it's probably lactic acid. Might take a few days for the soreness to go away. ps. Work your triceps too.

most likely you just strained a variety of muscles in your lower arm. it's fairly easy to do. I've even done it after coming off a long break from training

It is possible that you may have pulled something, maybe you should consult an expert at your local gym if you think your doing something wrong to save yourself from doing any proper damage.

NO IT'S JUST LACTIC ACID. YOU NEED TO BEND YOUR ARMS AND WORK IT OUT. IT WILL TAKE A FEW DAYS, BUT IT WILL GO AWAY. USUALLY IF YOU TAKE CREATINE YOU WON'T HAVE THAT PROBLEM BECAUSE CREATINE PREVENTS THE BUILD UP OF LACTIC ACID.
