I watched this case-study on the telly that states a person who deeply depressed will have a amnesia. When I think about it, might be possible. Because I'm having a depression and when in deeply depressed, I finds very hard to remember detail surrounds me and myself.

Depression can mess with your memory and ability to concentrate.

Personally, I think it's because we're so focussed on the depression and what's making us depressed that we just can't think about much else.

When we get to the root of the depression and lift it from our minds, I think we can then start to use our memories again and indeed start using our mind to full effect again.
