for telling him I can't wait 5 years for sex? I think if I said yes it would be a lie. A girl has need to. What do you think?

FYI He is in prison for "trying" to stealing an 18 pack of beer. He didn't have to steal the beer, when he get's drunk he does stupid things. He was sent to prison because he was already on probation for for several dui's. :( They gave him on year but he may have to do the whole length of his probation which is 5 years.

the first two things that come to mind are shallow and self centered. trust me...once your married many long term couples would have issue with your statemtent...if you cant handle the wait...say so and move on. what youve got is far from normal. whats right for you is whats right for you but if your looking for a pass...sorry.

5 yrs is a long time to wait. But don't tell him that you will crush him. Remember he is having a hard time in prison don't add to his problems. Just go out and have sex and don't tell him, no reason to hurt him at this time in his life.

No, that is NOT unreasonable. Especially if you don't think the relationship was that good anyway. It is hard though, 'coz it's the kids Dad - he's always going to be around..
Is there anyway you could avoid telling him about another boyfriend? Perhaps your kids are old enough to tell on you.. if that's the case, hope you'd tell him first (of course).. ;)

wow, what about the kids. Thinking only of yourself?? You need help if you think only about you and having sex. Kids needs stability. Try choosing better next time. Be an example not a sample.

If he didn't care about you and your child enough to stay out of trouble, then I wouldn't worry about dating someone else. As others have said, it's not like he's going without sex in the pen.

Five years is a long time to wait I personal think so, but if he is worth waiting for than maybe you should think about this but apparently he is in jail for something bad so maybe its time for a relationship change..

If u Love someone u can wait even for 50 yrs............
But ..... 1st u make sure that when he'll be free from prison then''would u like to spend ur life with him''???????/ If yes...... wait for him.... BUT If u think ''u would like to spend with anyone else'' then I'' I think u should move on in ur life,,, but after telling this to ur partner..................
THE FINAL DECISION IS TO BE TAKEN BY U............
CAREFULLY THINK ABOUT IT...................... GOOD LUCK!!!!

I don't know, what did he do to go to prison? It's your fault because you didn't object for him to do a horrible thing.
It's ok, if you have to wait wait, but you don't want go work and get him out of prison, if you love him so much go and see him for a while.
