I am just so scared. going to the dentist is out of the question. i can't eat anything, i can't have any funas i'm in pain all the time. i live on paracetamol. i really need to find a way of curing it at home...i can't have an operation or whatever--i'd rather die.
I really need help and advice, and i have no one to turn to.
Please, if you know how to get rid of it, tell me how.

you really need to go to the dentist or the er. if the bacterial from you mouth or the abcess makes it into your blood stream it can get to your heart and that could cause some major damage. is it worth the risk. in the meantime, use hot compresses, the warmest you can tolerate, to alleviate the pain. this will also "bring it to a head" if it ever were to come to one. also, motrin will help with the swelling and the pain.

It is possible to die from an abscess in your mouth. It can spread up to your eye, and from there to your brain. Usually a problem like that will be preceeded by swelling, severe pain, and possibly a red line on the cheek going up toward the eye. If it gets that bad, you may be unable to open your mouth, and your eye may swell shut.

When you press on the abscess, does fluid drain from it? If you can get it to drain it's less likely to spread. Once you have drained it, rinse your mouth with half hydrogen peroxide and half water. If you're into herbal remedies, take 3 capsules of echinacea 3 times a day, 1 garlic tablet 3 times a day (skip this if you have any bleeding disorder, or if you're going to have a tooth extracted in the next two weeks), and 15 drops of grapefruit seed extract (mixed into orange juice so it will be palatable) three times a day. Taking oil of oregano would also be good, if you can find it. If the abscess doesn't start to improve within 3 days, or you start feeling worse, see a doctor or a dentist right away.

With a serious infection, they will treat with antibiotics before they attempt any dental work.

You go to the dentist...or you die. Is it really worth it to die? Go to the emergency room and think to yourself, "In 12 hours this will all be over." If you have had the abscess for a long time they will take care of it fast, and it will be a lot less painful than letting it continue to get worse.

not taking care of this will cause your death. YOU MUST HAVE THIS TAKEN CARE OF BY A HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL. ask your dentist to give you something to keep you calm. trust me you will not re-call a thing. YOU CAN NOT CURE THIS AT HOME.
