but I have bad knees. I'm willing to do the excercises, but is there anything a bit less strenuous? If not I'll just do it anyway...

I'm not fat, I'm a size 3. The skinny jeans I refer to are a size 1. I can all fit into the but my butt, which is out of proportion to the rest of my body.
So, telling someone to stop eating is not only rude, it's inexplicably unhealthy "advice".

You could try doing Pilates. I've tried it and it really works if your dedicated. Theres this workout you do for 20 minutes which strengthens, shapes, and slims down all the problem areas like the butt, the thighs, the abdomen, the arms, the flab on the sides, etc. It's pretty short considering it's only 20 minutes but it works. It comes with a schedule and everythin to plan out when you could work out. The workout is pretty tough but in the end it's worth it. And you start sweating a lot when your about 5 minutes into the workout. And it won't hurt your knees. I've lost 19 pounds from it and my butt is smaller. Lol. Seriously though, it works.

There is a butt reducing exercise where you sit and walk using your butt cheeks, sort of left cheek right cheek and so on..
Cheat and use skinny jeans with stretchy denim material
