If your really serious about charity...I would keep half and give half to charity.....you can still get a good used car for 5K or less

Um, you do realize you have to pay it back to the bank, with interest? Not exactly sure why you would have gotten yourself a loan without a specific need for the money...giving it away would be...a less than bright idea.

What did you get the loan for? I would say use it for that, or give it back. Don't make yourself more in debt without good reason.

Philanthropy is great, but don't give to charity more than you can honestly afford.

Give it back to the bank if you don't need it. Your getting charged interest.
