do unplugging appliances save money?

by simply unplugging my tv, vcr or clock radio every morning , for the day, actually save me money?

yes it will BUT to save time just turn the power off at the power outlet

Unplugging anything that uses power saves you $ on electricity yes. Most of the cost of your monthly electic, if you are normal user, is the gadgets that have a small light on them like VCRs, stereos, etc, things that are constantly using a small amount of juice.

Yes, you could also just turn it off and not use it until you need to.
