Unfortunately I was this girl once.

My BFF tried to tell me ... over and over and over again. I wouldn't listen.. I couldn't listen..she didn't possibly know "my" man ... I thought she was jealous, was hatin'...etc etc.. In the end I went ahead and married him..against the wishes of most of my friends and family ... lost contact with my BFF for 5 years because she refused to stand by while I was with him.

I left him two years into the marriage because I was tired of being a tissue. I was done with the lying and the cheating.. I deserved better..I was worth more than him..

Until she realizes that she deserves more than him, there is nothing you can do short of loving her... and supporting her. I also understand that there is a limit to what we can watch our friends do to hurt themselves.. If you cannot deal with it any longer. .. Step away from her and the friendship..You only have control over yourself and your decisions..

Good luck.

She cares for her bf and so she will have to side with him. Some people would rather be with a person who treats them poorly than to be alone. There are also some people that gives a vibe that they'll always get cheated on (ex. Halle Berry, Nicole Kidman, etc.) Just my two cents...

If you love someone, being cheated on can be hurtful and hard to believe.

For me, having support would have helped.

No one makes another person's decisions...listening to parents' advice especially when we are grown can be helpful.

that's so sad. i don't know if this is right but mabey if she doesn't want to listen is because she's in denile. let her take a break to sort through this and then talk to her about your feelins about her still dating him. if she still won't listen don't try anymore. just wait tell the finally break up then confort. After all u r best friends!
