Generally lots of people beleave in horoscope. Many times i have seen the predictions going to the point. I once shown the same to one astrologer in a city where no one knows me. He immediately told about the exact counting of brothers and sisters I have. Its a mixed kind of experience for me. I also saw many predictions which were never met. Just wanted to know how others think about this.

I believe that when a horoscope contains accurate information it is due to one of three things
1)being very vague
2)pure chance
3)psychic ability on the part of the person casting the horoscope

Astrology is as real and accurate as you allow it to be. The predictions are fashioned in such a way as to be as general as possible to be applicable to as many people as possible. If you want a prediction to be true, you'll find a way that it'll fit. But there's no mystical power of fortune telling in the position of the stars.

it's pure fiction. where the planets were when you were born has nothing to do with your life. if you were borne in a hospital the only thing form the planets that could affect you would be their gravity; and the gravity of the obstetrician would have been MUCH stronger.

all you have to do is pick up two different newspapers and read your horoscope in each one. chances are they will both be vague, could be applied to anyone and be completely differant from eachother. if astrology was such an exact science, they would be the same, if not radicaly similar to eachother

God does not approve of it.

Deuteronomy 18:10-12 states: “There should not be found in you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, anyone who employs divination, a practicer of magic or anyone who looks for omens or a sorcerer, or one who binds others with a spell or anyone who consults a spirit medium or a professional foreteller of events or anyone who inquires of the dead. For everybody doing these things is something detestable to Jehovah, and on account of these detestable things Jehovah your God is driving them away from before you.”

In the Christian Greek Scriptures, we read of a girl who “used to furnish her masters with much gain by practicing the art of prediction.” Apparently, some of the things this girl foretold came true, since her masters profited from her powers. But what was behind this girl’s ability to predict future events? The Bible states that she was under the influence of “a spirit, a demon of divination.”—Acts 16:16.

No i don't believe in them.
When they say something true about you it is because they r using the influence they have with jinn ( i don't know if u know what that is) and something called kareen.. using that they could know anything about u from the past but anything from the future is plain guessing cuz no one knows the future except God and whoever he chooses to reveal something specific to him.

I think it is really uncanny how it will describe how a personals traits and personality is but when it comes down to daily events it basically a novelty. Aries talk alot, Leo's dominate their surrounding, Tauruses are bullhead etc etc.

No, because God is the only One who knows what will happen to us in the future.
