Yes, its now become Vietnam mk2!..However, to many big corporates are making money out of it now!.New oil and arms deals are going down all the time..America cant get out.. the big money wont let you!..The situation will deteriorate more and more until 'the money' decides to leave, and the USA will be 'lumbered' with a religiously motivated war that you cannot win!..In fact despite what all the 'spin doctors' are telling you, you've lost the war already!..You cannot control religious fanatics with bombs who will quite happily slaughter themselves and everybody else for their murderous God!..Why dont Americans see the irrefutable evidence?..Answer--Because your not being told, thats why!..Its Vietnam all over again..Only this time its going to get worse!..

yes and there are the reasons:
1 Iraq people want US out from Iraq
2 there is not way to US Soldiers to know who is the enemy
3 Bush Strategy in Iraq is a major failure
4 send more troops now is equal to an economy suicide
5 we should pull out and leave the job to the Iraq Government
6 if in the future we go back in Iraq we should have a better plan

Having made the mess, walking away from it is not an option.
Someone has to speak to all of the waring factions in the area and come up with a formula that will allow the Western nations to pull their troops out. I think that the solution can only come from the United Nations, but first America has got to make peace with the organisation it has compromised.

They should but they are sending more troops in Iraq. There is no way to come back, they should have thought before taking this risk but now it is too late!

I think the Bush administration needs to state how their real goals are going. As far as I know, they are going well.
Less than 15% of the planned infrastructure projects are left to be built.
According to the Iraqi president, the Iraqi police and troops should be trained by June of 2007.
The U.S. plans to hand back Iraq providence by providence and that should be accomplished by the begining of the second quarter of 2008.
Then the U.S. troops can pull out since there would be no more goals to accomplish.

Yes, then Iran can have it well done Mr Bush and they didn't even need to fight them again......Bush should have kept his nose out.....Let me tell you a tale. Once upon a time there was a massive army known as the Coalition back in Gulf 1 we would have happily followed through and the Kurds up rised and Iraq would have been a jolly nation but that went out of the window didn't it, until Mr Bush JR...And everybody didn't live happily ever after..

if we pull out too soon country might collapse to total anarchy, i am not saying its almost there but the problem is now, we pull out and it spreads to other countries, then really going to be some fighting going on, But on the other hand we dont want to stay too long where as we become like their army for protection, this is a tough question because lot is at stake and the wrong decision could lead to total war.

No. We created a mess over there and I think it is our duty to help straighten it out though I admit that up to this point we have done a piss poor job. Though actually of late I have been a little torn. It seems more and more like the Iraqis really don't want rebuilding and a strong democratic nation. It seems more and more like they want to shoot each other and dominate the region through force. This is really to bad since there are many over there who would like to see things work and peace to be brought to the people.

No. They would be leaving a country in a much worse state than when they invaded. Let them fulfill their arrogant promises that it would be a walkover and let them suffer a bit more as they've caused others to suffer. Maybe then they'll learn to keep their noses out.
